DJ 149 – Seiko Mods

This exquisite timepiece boasts a robust 316L stainless steel case, featuring a polished diameter of 39mm with a thickness of 12.5mm. Its design ensures comfort and a perfect fit with a horn-to-horn measurement of 47mm and a lug width of 20mm. The case back is crafted from the same high-quality stainless steel, ensuring durability and style. The crown, also made from 316L stainless steel, is securely screwed to enhance the watch’s water resistance.

The strap, fashioned from the same resilient stainless steel, gracefully tapers from 20mm at the lug to 16mm at the closure, adjustable to accommodate lengths ranging from 15cm to 23cm, ensuring a perfect fit for a variety of wrist sizes.

The dial is inspired by the Seiko SPB149, featuring indexes and hands coated with Lumibrite for visibility in low light conditions. The hands are further enhanced with C3 luminescence, ensuring time is easily read in the dark.

Protection is provided by a flat sapphire crystal glass, treated with an anti-reflective coating to reduce glare and enhance visibility. The watch is elegantly finished with a fluted, polished bezel, adding a touch of sophistication and classic appeal to this modern, high-performance timepiece.
